In a recent press conference to discuss the film and its pivotal subject matter, one of the main directors of the film and a renowned actor, Femi Branch, stated that he was driven to make the movie after talking to an elderly man who was very angry about the happenings in Nigeria and most especially the root causes. Losing his hope in the continuous sinking ship of his country, the elderly man cried out and asked why Nigerians would be abusing one another.
According to him, the sad thing was that he was not an angry old man, but rather, a prayerful person, and the prayers he wanted to continue hearing on his behalf and in his country was to be transformed into constructive conversations. In fact, the movie, which tells the tale of a 13-year-old boy whose will power to save his kingdom is put to the test after he discovers a giant underwater treasure, has quickly become a cult classic among teenagers.
